An UNSHAKEABLE HOPE to MAKE DREAMS COME TRUE
On the solid base of cultural and universal values emerging from the spontaneous and not spoiled encounter with Andean Coca, I had the chance to experience, I save carefully the teachings I got from being part and participant of the social claims of Andean People, continuing to be ideally faithful despite the distances, witnessing in my life the cultural, scientific, social, natural and magic values of the sacred green Coca, reconfirming my unconditional – and never betrayed neither neglected – identification with its symbolic essence which becomes soul and future of Peoples.
Certainly all the actions taken in the various fields of knowledge are very useful, as matter of research, finance and economics, politics, anthropology, ecology and whatever more; however and above all, the magic and mysterious identity of Coca … journey and solution … stands firmly.
The hatun ñan means in quechua language the great path on which individuals and Peoples – the Andean one and all the others worldwide – just should decide to step in at first; the coherence of actions and the Respect for all Life will make the harvest spontaneous and full of blessed fruits…
I keep feeding on continue renewable energy, reassuring and unpredictable at ones, confirming that the Respect for Life, the spark of my adventures, has endured a whole ocean, traveling in the wake of the inspiration of Master Albert Schweitzer, like stretching a bridge or a symbolic rainbow from the African village of Lambaréné to the remote corners of the Andes, to take new shapes into the sacred green Coca, sign of hope that we all will make it, even in dangerous waters, all equally blessed and at risk.
The realization of my own life’s circle on the inspiration of Albert Schweitzer is a gift of incalculable value the sacred Coca granted me, along with a good health, steady to the wearing out of time, fueled by a physical and psychic energy that surely is not a matter to ignore or undervalue, rooted in the mysteries of Life.
If the Peoples of the sacred Coca – which I strongly wish and hope – will remain united under the main key points of their own Culture, it’s highly likely they will become furthermore isolated on the world scene, excluded from the international financial aid, granted to Coca growing Nations, under a permanent blackmail, in order to force them to gradually disappear their sacred plant.
However, as in other chapter described, a firm and well set national plan to industrialize Coca will replace the apparent economic losses with legal and maybe higher income, without neglecting the impacting energy generated by the satisfaction to cope exclusively with the very means and resources of the People united and identified in their own self-determination.
Every sacred leaf delivered to the narco-business is a missed opportunity on the path to strengthen the dignity of Andean People, well together with all other socially identified People from every geographical and cultural origin, towards the common and universal destiny of welfare; from the perspective of both traditional heritage and biodiversity, I feel pretty sure that … the Andean Coca is just what it is … sacred and green.
Certainly there won’t be anymore too much Coca, when Andean leaves will be put to good use, such as processing foods and natural products, under the essential condition that adequate legislation is promoted; as already described, the free movement of the the green products with Coca will be absolutely safe, as it’s impossible to break them down to obtain raw material for drugs’ processing.
In fact it’s interesting – and perhaps curious – that the international legislation has never taken into consideration the issue of regulating the marketing of green products with Coca; therefore, given all the current knowledges on the whole intact leaf, its alkaloids, the changes in the digestive and physiological processes and the reaction to the high temperatures of cooking, the green products with Coca must not at all fall under the current laws controlling the Andean Coca, confusingly and superficially, unfairly and inappropriately.
As there is no law on the distribution of the green products with Coca on the markets worldwide, there is not even the case to infringe the law, because it’s known that if there is no law, there is no crime, from the Latin nullum crimen sine lege.
Here’s another intriguing consideration, regarding the clear separation between the GREEN and WHITE areas of Coca: the sniffer dogs, trained to recognize the artificial illegal drugs – at least according to my personal experience – don’t seem to be able to detect green Coca, nor from the green grass smell of the leaves nor in the green products, smelling as the ingredients green Coca is aggregate to.
The only viable alternative to Coca is Coca:
its natural and beneficial use must urgently spread around,
in order to eliminate – or at least to greatly reduce – the artificial and illegal use.
Coca is an irreplaceable component of possible solutions
to those same issues it’s unfairly held responsible for.
